Fenton and Felicia are now available for adoption at the Rockwall Petco. Beginning last week, two of our cats are available for adoption at Petco every day. The previous two were adopted, so Fenton and Felicia took up temporary residence in the store this morning.
We suddenly have more cats available for adoption than dogs. That's OK, because we don't think you'll find any pet cuter than Fabian. He's somewhat surprised to find himself in a shelter. When the Wood family of Heath saw Dingo's photo in Friday's Rockwall County Herald Banner as the Adoptable Shelter Pet of the Week, they decided to come to the Rockwall Petco to adopt him. What they hadn't planned on was falling in love with Brice when they got there. So they adopted both of them! Another Find-a-Friend Friday success story!
Sterling Gilbert got his birthday wish yesterday. He adopted a puppy at Find-a-Friend Friday and immediately named him Spike. We'll be at the Rockwall Petco from 1-5pm again today for a special Saturday edition of our weekly adoption event.

Perhaps this dog's name should have been Velcro, because he loves to stick by your side. Sure, Dingo can amuse himself by playing with dog toys. But he really prefers staying close to the ones he loves. Rolling over for some belly rubs wouldn't hurt either. Dingo is going to mature into a wonderfully loyal companion.
