Nola won't be any trouble

Nola is beautiful, but her best years are admittedly behind her. Someone let her out to wander off to die. But she wants to live. She sleeps a lot, and she's dirty and riddled with arthritis, but that doesn't stop her from being happy. She's very loving and wants someone to love her in return. Trick or Treat!

Wear your costume and bring your trick or treat bag, because we'll be celebrating Halloween at all our weekend events! We'll be at the Firewheel Petco in Garland this evening from 4-7pm. We'll be at Ponderosa Pet Resort with Dog Star Pit Bull Rescue tomorrow from 9am-1pm. We'll also be at the Rockwall Petco tomorrow from noon-3pm. And, of course, we'll be having our weekly Tail-Gate Party at the shelter on Sunday from noon-4pm. Join us for some spooky fun!

That face!

It really doesn't matter if Aspen is a little timid around humans. Because who can resist that adorable face? This Shar Pei mix has obviously never experienced a loving touch, so she tends to be scared around people she doesn't know. But she's quickly growing addicted to receiving all the attention she deserves. Aspen is an intelligent, sweet and very beautiful young lady.
