Cheyenne needs you!

Cheyenne has everything going for her. She's a three-ear-old Akita who's gorgeous, charming and mild-mannered. She's a big girl - she weighs over 75 pounds - but Cheyenne is a gentle giant.

She's everything a great dog should be. 

Except one thing. She was apparently hit by a car and suffered substantial injuries, including a badly broken femur and a torn ACL. After we rescued her from the Dallas animal shelter, her injuries presented a stark choice: We would have to choose between amputating one of her rear legs or giving her thigh replacement surgery.
