A tiny warrior
Don't be deceived. Noodle may look like your typical adorable little dog. But this four-pound cutie is a true warrior. He was apparently hit by a car, and both his rear legs are badly broken. Yet Noodle doesn't complain, doesn't whimper, and lives life with stoic grace. His positive attitude is simply inspiring. Once he recovers from his injuries, Noodle will be ready for a lifetime of love. He's a little warrior who's a big inspiration. Please donate to give him the surgery he needs to walk properly again. Noodle is your Adoptable Pet for the week of July 15, 2013.

The Norris family fell in love with Bubbles and just adopted her for no fee! That's right! Since June is Adopt-a-Cat Month, you can adopt any of our adult cats for no adoption fee! Thanks again to Cold Stone Creamery of Rockwall, Sheryl Acevedo, Patti Watson and other anonymous donors for making it possible.

Making history on January 10
Monday January 10, 2011 was a historic day at the Rockwall Animal Adoption Center. Dr. Kurt Avery performed the first spay/neuter procedures at the new in-house vet clinic. It's a dream come true for Chris Valentine and the Animal Services team: Your Rockwall shelter pets will have in-house vet care for the first time. And the clinic was made possible by generous donations from Rockwall citizens. Thank you!

Give a gift of love this holiday season
Rockwall Petco employee Kayla Canavier (center) joins Rockwall animal shelter volunteers Pam Kitkoski (with Jake) and Barbara Seed (holding Sandy) to celebrate the ongoing success of the Tree of Hope. Petco shoppers have been making holiday donations to the Rockwall Animal Adoption Center through the Tree of Hope program. The Rockwall Petco has already raised nearly half of its $4000 goal. More information is available on the Rockwall Pets web site.
